Earlier this month, Brothers Redevelopment and Community Housing Partners came together with community members, partners, and supporters to celebrate an exciting new chapter for affordable housing in Aurora.
Held at Eagle Meadow Homes — Brothers Redevelopment’s affordable housing community in Aurora — the community celebration and ribbon cutting marked the official merger of Brothers Redevelopment and Community Housing Partners. The event brought together two organizations with a shared commitment to housing stability, resident support, and long-term affordability.
“This merger represents more than growth. It’s about deepening our commitment to Aurora families and strengthening the support systems that help people remain stably housed,” said Brothers Redevelopment President Jeff Martinez. “This partnership strengthens our ability to provide high-quality affordable housing, support residents, and ensure long-term stability for families.”
Through the merger, Brothers Redevelopment has assumed management of Community Housing Partners’ operations and assets, expanding access to affordable housing and strengthening long-term stability for Aurora families. Brothers Property Management, the organization’s exclusive management agent, now oversees CHP’s portfolio of three affordable housing communities in Aurora, totaling 183 apartments for low-income families.
This expanded portfolio builds on Brothers Redevelopment’s existing presence in Aurora, including Eagle Meadow Homes, a 39-unit affordable housing community for families, and future development plans that include a new 60-unit affordable housing community for housing-insecure individuals. Together, these efforts represent a significant expansion of affordable housing options and long-term support for Aurora residents.
The celebration highlighted the impact this partnership will have for Aurora families, including expanded access to affordable housing, strengthened resident services, and continued investment in the community. We were grateful to celebrate alongside local leaders, partners, and neighbors who have helped make this next chapter possible!
